Arktikum – science centre & museum

Arktikum is a museum and science centre and one of the must sees in Rovaniemi. Arktikum, located close to Rovaniemi’s city-center and 8 km from Santa Claus Village, lets you experience northern nature, culture, and history up close. Housing the University of Lapland’s Arctic Centre and the Regional Museum of Lapland, we provide a deeper understanding of the Arctic. Also, Arktikum is a place where the mystery of the Northern Lights is revealed with scientific facts, video and interactive elements. That and so much more about the life in the North is explained in our immersive exhibitions.

Alongside the exhibition visit, we recommend visiting the Arktikum Café and shop. You’ll get to savour the colourful northern harvest in our lunch buffet and soak in arctic design on your coffee break. Arktikum Shop offers high quality and most authentic gifts and souvenirs.

Culture Pass – combined ticket for Arktikum and Korundi
Get your Culture Pass for two of Rovaniemi’s main cultural attractions. Visit the Science Centre and Museum Arktikum and the Korundi House of Culture with a single ticket.
The Culture Pass is valid for seven (7) days, during which you can visit the attractions as many times as you like. The pass also offers a discount compared to separate admission tickets.
